I’m thinking about putting my series on application architecture in EXT and Sencha on hold for now because the Sencha team has announced their plans for EXT 4.0 which looks like it will include a very nice MVC framework built in.

My plan is to restart this series when the new version of EXT comes out next year. I’m sorry for the false start here, but I really think this will be even better this way.

As someone who is on an ExtJS 3.x project (with no immediate chance of upgrading to v4) I would still be very grateful to see the rest of your series!

    • Thanks for the feedback, Clint. I’ve been thinking about picking it back up as I think there are still some great things to be discussed that could really apply to Ext 3, Ext 4 and Sencha Touch. Right now it’s just a matter of carving out the time to write more. I’m hoping to have the time within the next couple of weeks and then perhaps to hop back onto it.

+1 to Clint, as a clone, i would really love the series continues… I believe Ext4 is a new product that still needs to mature it self to level the performance of its previous versions, its sad that Ext4 didn’t have the expectations of others that was seen on the videos by some of ExtJS Devs.

Please do continue this one or else ill clone you too… ^_-

  3. I’ve often wished that I were cloned, because then I would be able to get more done. I think I’ve been won over… I’ll try to pick this back up very, very soon!
